Holiday Cactus

Very popular around Christmas time, this attractive blooming plant is easy care and great for gift-giving! Available in multiple colors that will be chosen by your personal shopper.

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light for the fullest, biggest blooms. Avoid direct light as that can scorch the foliage. Can adjust to lower lighting conditions but will not bloom as much.

• Water: This plant likes to dry out a bit before watering, typically allow the top two inches to dry. During the summer this plant will need a decent amount more water, however you can allow it to dry out a bit more during the winter. When the plant is flowering, it is important to make sure that the soil does not dry out completely.

• Humidity: Prefers average to high household humidity

• Temperature: Average household temperatures are sufficient. Avoid drafty areas.

• Food: Apply a mild houseplant fertilizer every other week during the spring and summer.

• Toxicity: Very mildly toxic, if ingested may cause vomiting in animals

• Extra Care: Pruning the plant in June can help to cause extra growth and blooms during the winter.
